The top intelligence officer of the US Defense Ministry told the Parliament that the Indian Army is continuously increasing its strength. India is trying to defeat China and is reducing its dependence on Russian defense equipment. The officer said that the Indian Army is continuously modernizing.

Lieutenant General Jeffrey Kruse, Director of the US Defense Intelligence Agency, was speaking during the ongoing meeting in the US Parliament to compete with China. During this time in the House, he said many things about India to the members of the Armed Services Committee and the Intelligence Sub-Committee. He said, India has shown itself as a global leader by leading the G-20 summit last year. He said that India has proved itself capable by countering China’s activities in the entire Indo-Pacific region.

India and America are modernizing their army
General Jeffrey Kruse said India has advanced partnerships with South China Sea claimants such as the Philippines through its training, sales and training. Has further strengthened its cooperation with America, France, Japan and Australia. General Jeffrey Kruse said that in the year 2023, India has taken several steps to modernize its army to compete with the Chinese army and to reduce dependence on Russian defense equipment.

India is making indigenous ships
The head of the US intelligence agency said that India has tested its indigenous aircraft carrier at sea. Apart from this, talks have been held with many western countries regarding transfer of major defense technologies.
